Paul R. Garcia, Chairman, President and CEO of Global Payments
announced today the appointment of Kevin J. Schultz to the position of
Executive Vice President-Chief Sales and Marketing Officer with
responsibilities for the company’s domestic direct
and indirect sales, key customer support and worldwide marketing
activities. Schultz most recently served as EVP, Client Services for
Visa U.S.A. and will report directly to Garcia, effective October 2005.

During his extensive career in the payments industry, Schultz was
responsible for maintaining and growing more than one trillion dollars
of Visa’s sales volume in the U.S., as well as growing and enhancing
customer relationships, sales, implementations and customer support for
Visa banks, merchants and data processors. Additionally, as EVP and
General Manager for Visa Debit Processing, Schultz was responsible for
forming and growing Visa’s independent processing arm. Schultz holds a
B.A. Degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters Degree from
Columbia University.
